Privacy Lost: These Phones Can Find You /NY Times Tech

This new service of GPS tracking via cell phones is definitely not for me. Why would you want anyone one to know you every move? Or have to answer to your every turn. Of course there is blocking of this service but then there is always the question, why are you blocking me? Definitely not for me. Also I don't have the desire to track others it is sort of creepy, almost like stalking.I believe in freedom to choose to make decisions and do what you want to do without spies or stalkers watching your every move. Can you believe that they want you to pay for this service!

No thanks. I agree, it's a little too much. Can you imagine a world where every one knew where every one else who mattered to them was at all times. It is a little creepy. If you think how many people have obsessive/compulsive behaviors now, this technology could really send some over the edge. There may be people who could argue that such capability would be good, like parents. But how would a young person earn trust, if they are never given the opportunity to do so?
